This study investigated the effectiveness of assertiveness therapy on adolescent victims of bullying from Comprehensive Secondary School Amakohia in Owerri, Imo State. Purposive sampling technique was used to select 30 participants comprising of 15 males and 15 females within the age bracket of 13-17 years with a mean age of 15.03 and standard deviation of 1.30. Victimized Adolescents Scale (VAS) was used to assess victimized adolescents. Two hypotheses were stated and tested. Data was analysed using paired-sample t-test statistics with SPSS version 17. The findings of the study revealed that assertiveness therapy was effective in the management of victimized adolescents and that age does not have effect in the outcome of assertiveness therapy. It is recommended that psychotherapists and stakeholders in the management of adolescents employ assertive therapy to alleviate and prevent victimization.
